Hedge Trimming of all types of hedges under taken.

Typical hedges are Beech, Laurel, Buxus, Privet, Leylandii, Portuguese  Laurel, Conifer, Hornbeam. Regular trimming not only keeps them neat and tidy but to size and shape as they can grow out of control if left. 

Hedge Reduction.  Hedges can be reduced in height and on the sides when they get too high or too wide. The manner of reducing a hedge or shrub depends on it's variety and nature of growth habits. Some are relatively easy to reduce whist others can be very difficult and challenging.  It's a time consuming process even with professional tools where there is no single tool that will do the entire job,    

Trimming shrubs to form sculptured shapes. Topiary is the art of trimming or clipping a shrubs or tree into an ornamental shape. 

Shrubs regularly trimmed look neat and tidy but also create interesting shapes and structure to any garden. Other maintenance required are the beds in which they are planted that require weeding, lawn edging edged and mulching of the beds. 

Beech Hedge Reduced on top and one side. In this case the side was growing to far onto the pedestrian walkway. Height was reduced for visibility when exiting the driveway in a vehicle.

Privet Hedge Trimmed with bevelled edge. Most hedges only require a trim once or twice a year but if left to grow they will need to be trimmed back hard to the desired height or width. This is commonly known as a hedge reduction.
